Turkeys Recipe


a.) Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.
b.) Season room temperature turkey, cover with foil.
c.) Cook for 15-18 minutes / pound.
d.) Remove foil for the last 45 min. Baste bird every 15 minutes.
e.) Internal temperature at the thigh joint should be 165-170 degrees.
f.) Remove from oven, let stand 20 minutes, carve and serve.

Recipe of the Week: Brisket or Any Pot Roast

Brisket
Cover roast with water and season.

Cook in a 275-300 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours.

Add hard veggies (carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, etc.)

Continue to simmer for additional hour.

Keep plenty of water in pan.
