Serves 10 to 14
Ingredients:
- 4 lbs brisket
- 3/4 cup dry marinade
- 6 cups prepared barbecue sauce
- 6 tablespoons dry mustard
- 3 tablespoons oregano
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- Rub beef brisket with marinade.
- Cover and roast in 325F oven 2 1/2 hours.
- Remove cover and cook 1/2 hour longer.
- Remove from oven. Brush with barbecue sauce.
- Carve brisket in 1/8" thick slices.
Mix Mustard, oregano, chilli powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Makes 3/4 cup.
